Eastman strives to provide the resources necessary to help students
flourish in their studies and future careers. Endowed scholarships
accomplish this in perpetuity.
Endowed gifts are invested and managed by the University. A
portion of the investment earnings is spent, while the original gifts
are preserved as principal. As a result, endowed gifts can grow and
provide support to students for generations.
By establishing an endowed scholarship you also establish a legacy
of support for the most promising musicians. You can create yours
with a minimum gift of $50,000 or at one of the following levels (the
calculations demonstrate funding available based on Eastman using
5% of the fund’s five-year rolling market value):

PATRON: $1 million+
Initially yields about $50,000 in annual scholarship support

BENEFACTOR: $600,000+
Initially yields about $30,000 in annual scholarship support

SUPPORTING: $100,000+
Initially yields about $5,000 in annual scholarship support
